Amy Gonzalez, MBA
I am currently a full-time court reporting student with the Court Reporting and Caption at Home program and work for a successful law firm, specializing in medical negligence. I have contracted with numerous court reporting firms in New Mexico as a transcript proofreader and have several-thousand pages of experience in proofreading.
I am a native New Mexican, graduated from Sandia High School, received my Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Mexico (Everyone's a Lobo...Woof! Woof! Woof!), and rounded off my education with an MBA from Grand Canyon University. I am married to my beloved Victor for 13 years and we have two children, Lilliana and Emiliano, ages 10 and 8. Our family is completed by Poppy-puppy, our 150-pound Great Dane who believes she's a lap dog.

Transcript proofreading available for depositions, panels, hearings, and trials. I use The Gregg Reference Manual and Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary as my standard reference sources. I specialize in medical and technical transcripts.

STANDARD RATES: 72-Hour Turnaround
For thorough work, I request final drafts of transcripts sent in PDF format. Only annotated pages will be returned. Errors will be marked in red.

BILLING
All payments by check. Payments made payable to, "L & M Court Reporting, LLC" Gross receipt tax will be added to invoices.
New Client
New clients will be invoiced immediately after the first job. After payment is received, client will be moved to standard billing.
Standard
Invoices will be sent on the 1st of every month. All payments due by 30 days of receipt. Late payments will incur a 10% late fee, calculated from the total invoice amount.
One-Off Jobs
One-off jobs will be invoiced immediately and payment will be expected within 15 days of receipt of invoice. A job will be considered a one-off if the same court reporter has no other jobs within the next 15 days of transcript submittal.
